Privacy policy
This site does two things that involve your data: it measures traffic, and it has a contact form. That is the whole of it. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising, and there are no accounts to create.

What we collect when you use the contact form
If you fill in the form on our contact page, we receive what you typed: your name, email address, and optionally your company and phone number, along with the topics you selected and the description of your problem.
That message is delivered to us by email through Amazon Web Services and arrives in our inbox at info@swstrategies.com. We use it to reply to you and, if we end up working together, as part of the ordinary record of that relationship. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass your details to anyone else.
The form carries one hidden field that real people never see. It exists to catch automated spam, and nothing in it is used for any other purpose.
What we collect when you simply read the site
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people read and how they arrive. It sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, and what kind of device and browser you are using. We see this as aggregate patterns. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we have not enabled advertising features.
If you would rather not be measured at all, Google publishes a browser add-on that turns it off everywhere: Google Analytics opt-out. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings, and the site works perfectly well if you do.
Where the site is hosted
The site is served from Amazon Web Services in the United States. Your request reaches their network in order to deliver the page, which is how all websites work. We do not keep our own logs of visitors beyond what the analytics above describe.
Who else sees your information
We use a small number of services to run this site, and that is the complete list:
- Amazon Web Services — hosting, and delivering the contact form to our inbox.
- Google Analytics — traffic measurement.
- Google Workspace — our email, which is where your message lands.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. If we are ever legally required to disclose something, we will, and we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
How long we keep it
Analytics data expires on Google’s standard retention schedule. Messages you send us stay in our email while the conversation is live and afterwards as a business record. If you would like us to delete your message and contact details, ask and we will.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@swstrategies.com and a person will answer. If you are in a place with specific data protection rights — California, the European Union, the United Kingdom and others — those rights apply and we will honor them; just tell us what you need.
Children
This is a site about enterprise software consulting. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Links to other sites
We link to everTest and to LinkedIn. Once you follow a link away from here, that site’s own privacy policy applies, not ours.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not quietly start doing something this page says we do not do.
